Testosterone

At one point or another, many anti-aging pioneers have gone to an extreme to age gracefully. This is my journey with attempting Testosterone Replacement Therapy.

Something that has gained popularity in the last few years is TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy). It's a synthetic testosterone hormone that is administered under doctor supervision with regular bloodwork.

After watching countless videos of men's success stories with TRT, I became curious about trying it out. I've always felt great and energized, but I thought that maybe it wasn't enough.

So after going to the doctor and getting some blood work done, it turned out I wasn't a candidate for TRT. At 36 years old, my Testosterone was at 760 ng/dL, which is above average for someone my age.

I'm glad I was able to get the testing done and know for sure that everything is okay.

I'm not a medical professional, so make sure to contact a medical professional before following any of my advice. I'm just going to share a long list of summarized health tips that I do myself to keep my hormone balance in check.

1- Don't drink tap water. There are many chemicals in tap water. Instead, I purchased a water distiller over a decade ago and it's the only water I drink. In the long run, you end up saving a lot of money.

2- Go fluoride free. I haven't used fluoride toothpaste in over a decade.

3- Life is stressful enough and when you own a business it is magnified. We all have our challenges. Implementing cortisol blockers into my health routine has helped me keep my hormones from being decimated by high levels of cortisol. I take Qi Tonic in the morning and Primal Shield DARK before bedtime.

4- HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training): This type of workout is usually done in a group setting with coaches. It is for people of all fitness levels. It's like a Crossfit lite. HIIT boosts HGH (human growth hormone), which gives you the mother load of anti-aging benefits.

5- Weight Lifting - I do HIIT twice a week and go to a separate gym to do weight lifting twice a week. This is another great way to relieve stress in a productive way.

6- Eat Healthy - If you are going to eat meat, make sure it is organic and grass fed. Avoid anything with artificial sweeteners, colors, or flavors.

7- Avoid Sugar - Stock up on fruit, so that when you crave sugar, you have plenty of healthy options. Dark chocolate is also a great choice (the darker the better). As your taste begins to change, things like cake and doughnuts will become unbearably sweet.

Those are just a few things that I've been doing for a few years that have helped me stay energized.

I'd love to hear from you! Is there a specific food or exercise (or any tip) that you'd like to share for maximizing testosterone?
